LOCATION: Pisak is a small highly idyllic resort on the Riviera Omis 15km from Omis and 18 km from Makarska. Pisak is ideal for a quiet relaxing holiday in a typical Mediterranean fishing village. The water is crystal clear. Here you can ect freely swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving. Pisak offers a variety mostly small and idyllic of dense scrub and pine forests boxed beaches. You can find natural bays with crystal clear sea, fine pebble beaches, rocky beaches, sometimes sandy sections.
Many beaches are accessible only by hiking trails or by boat, and thus offer the possibility also take a stretch of beach all alone to have for themselves. A boat can be rented at a small harbor in Pisak and thus make a trip to the nearby bay Vrulja.
The village has a small supermarket, a small fruit and vegetable stand, 1 cafe and two small restaurants with typical Dalmatian cuisine.
GETTING THERE: You can reach Pisak from northwest (Munich-Zagreb-Zadar-Split) coming via the Dalmatian highway A1 in direction Dubrovnik. Leave the highway about 40 km after the junction split at exit Šestanovac.
From here we have exactly 17 km to Pisak. Please follow the signs and the road in the direction of Makarska and Omis. Drive through the villages Zadvarje and Gornja Brela before the road to the coastal road meets (spectacular views of the sea and the offshore islands). At the crossroads Geht's left to Makarska / Dubrovnik, right or straight on to Omis / Split.
Now go about 3.5 km towards Omis and after the bus stop (on the right) leave the coast road turning left and the single, leading into the city street.
